Regulations and rules for the use of the certification mark of the certification body / Certification body information
The users of the mark are the holders of valid certificates of GUARD IS CERTIFICATION Sp. z o.o.
The right to use certification mark
GUARD IS CERTIFICATION Sp. z o.o. is the owner of the GIC trademark. GIC, after issuing the certificate, grants the client the right to use the certification mark for the specified period of validity of the certificate. The use or display of the certification mark is not proof that the company is certified. To confirm the validity of the certificate, please refer to the Certibase database at www.cetgic.pl or send an e-mail request.
The use of the certificate and the certification mark issued by GIC is permitted only for the specified scope of certification. The certified company has the right to display this fact with the certification mark on letterheads, business cards, brochures, marketing materials (including websites), etc., if they meet the requirements. The certification mark may not be used in laboratory test reports, calibration or inspection reports, or on its certificates.
The dimensions of the GIC certification mark must comply with the specific aspect ratios. The certification mark must be used without deterioration/distortion of its dimensions. It is forbidden to modify the certification mark in any way (change the colour, text location, text font, etc.). Instead of the mark or in addition to the mark, the certified company may make a textual reference to the existing certification in its documents.
If a textual reference is used instead of the mark, it must contain the same information as the mark. A textual reference may not be used on product packaging. This applies to all product packaging, whether primary (containing the product), external or secondary. The textual reference must not mislead as to the scope of certification or the certification company.
Suspension/withdrawal or termination of certification
At the time of suspension, withdrawal or termination of the certificate, the certified company is obliged to stop using all advertising materials (printed and/or electronic versions) containing any references to certification, including the GIC certification mark.
Loss of the right to use the mark
The right to use the mark expires both on the date of expiry of the certification and when the Certification Body detects misuse of the certification. The Certification Body has the right to take measures such as withdrawal of the certificate, publication of information about the offence and taking appropriate legal action.
